ARTIST STATEMENT

My paintings explore the relationship between emotion, movement, and connection through thousands of individually hand-placed acrylic dots.

Each dot is individually placed to build color, texture, rhythm, and form. What begins as a collection of small, simple marks gradually becomes a larger image, reflecting the way individual moments, emotions, and experiences come together to shape our lives.

I am drawn to nature, movement, and symbolic forms as a way of expressing feelings that are often difficult to put into words. The repetitive process of placing each dot allows me to slow down, focus, and create a sense of harmony and a quiet stillness within the canvas.

Through vibrant color, intricate texture, and repetition, I invite the viewer to look closely, discover details, and pause for a moment of their own reflection.
